2025 MSU Destination Auction

This year we will be hosting an in-person Destination Auction Alumni reception featuring a LIVE AUCTION for those in attendance at the MSU Kellogg Center.

Additionally, we will be again conducting an online only auction that feature travel, hotel, entertainment, and dining packages for destination around the world.

The Online Auction Catalog is set to be posted by Monday, March 10.

The Michigan State University School of Hospitality Business Alumni Association and the students of The School host this annual premier fundraising event to support the Alumni Association and the students. The proceeds go to support the program, fund educational conferences, and provide learning opportunities for the students. The auction is planned and executed completely by a student run executive staff that is run just like any high level hospitality corporation.

Online bidding will start to close at 7 PM on Saturday March 22. Lots will close every 30 seconds unless bids are received in the final moments, and then that lot will extend for further bidding. Please click on the LIVE CATALOG link starting at 6:30 PM to watch items count down in real time.

The travel packages are donated by friends and alumni from around the world that have graduated from the program and have moved on to work in or manage some of the most prestigious vacation destinations and resorts anywhere in the world. We hope that you enjoy the packages that they have put together and hope that you find your dream vacation destination.

Online Auction Terms: 20% Buyer’s Premium. 6% Michigan sales tax for MI residents (no sales tax on packages that are only gift cards).
