Items chosen from some of the great collections we’ve had the privilege to work on this past year to help make your holidays bright. Many items are from an estate of the family of R.E. Olds of Oldsmobile fame, stunning pieces from several of their grand homes here in Lansing Michigan. Note: The furniture and more from this wonderful collection will be a part of our Winter High End Antiques Sale early next year.

Also included here are some wonderful vintage holiday decorations from a very knowledgeable local couple with a great eye for all things Christmas. We’ve also continued to add stylish items from a legendary antiques dealer, Asian items, decorator pieces and a gorgeous Italian tole lantern this time.

It’s a joy to present pieces from all of our talented local collectors. As usual for our holiday auction, there is elegant tabletop ware including fine china, crystal and silver. Additionally for this rather different year we have added some more homey fun casual pieces for the smaller sort of entertaining that may be a part of this season.

Lastly, some wonderful jewelry both fine and costume, art pottery, porcelain and glass, vintage toys, some nice midcentury, home décor and more that would make fine gifts.

This auction is not a timed auction. We will open Lot 1 at 12 pm Noon that day. We will open the first lot at Noon and accept bids from multiple online platforms and absentee bids, we will give fair warning when bidding slows, and then the auctioneer will declare that lot SOLD! and open the next lot for bidding. You can bid in advance as always, or wait until the lot opens and bid in real time. It is safer to enter your max bad in advance so that you don’t miss your lot when you forget the auction or don’t bid quick enough and we close the lot. The auctioneer will control the pace of the auction. There is no countdown timer.

AUCTIONEER’S NOTE: PICK UP FOR THIS AUCTION IS Monday, November 16, 2020 from 1 PM to 7 PM ONLY. Shipping is only available on small, easily packed items. You must bring your own boxes, tools, and labor. We charge $1 per box if you need boxes.

AUCTION TERMS:  A 20% buyer’s premium and sales tax will be applied to all winning bids. All invoices will be charged to your credit card at the end of the auction. No payments accepted at pickup.
